Due to continuing growth within the Nucleus team we're looking for a Medical Writer to join the team.


This is a fantastic role, working with on a team that partners with a growing portfolio of leading pharma clients across respiratory, oncology, and inflammation therapeutic areas.

Medical content development encompasses a range of deliverables including strategy/ planning, conferences, advisory boards, interactive content, and publications.


As a Medical Writer you will develop scientific expertise in assigned therapeutic areas, supporting delivery for a versatile team that includes creative, digital, client services, medical analytics, editorial, and health economics outcome research.

Core deliverable tasks include researching and developing technical materials, ensuring that all outputs follow written brief, are accurate in content and editorial style and can be referenced.

You will also communicate with clients and key opinion leaders on content development and attend scientific meetings.


To succeed you will have:

  • Previous experience working in a Medical Writing role, within a medical communications agency environment.
  • An academic background in the life sciences.
  • Experience writing across a broad range of scientific deliverables e.g. publications, training materials, slide sets, interactive content, conference booths, competitive intelligence, for a variety of medical audiences.
  • Experience with human pathophysiology and disease.
  • Attention to detail skills with experience reviewing materials for style/consistency, scientific accuracy, proofreading, layout.


You will report to the senior leadership team and be central to identifying new business opportunities and contributing to proposals and pitches.
