About the role
We are currently looking to recruit a Management Accounts Officer to join our Financial Planning and Strategy Team.

You will support other members of the team in providing an excellent finance service to managers and budget holders across the association and external stakeholders.

Working to tight deadlines you will play a key role in the preparation of Management Accounts reports and related information for the Management Team, Board and Funders.


You will assist with budget setting, budget monitoring and final accounts including those relating to property disposals, new housing developments and our solar PV energy subsidiary.

You will also calculate and review the financial requirements around "Right to Buy" and "Right to Acquire" of properties.

You will assist with financial modelling, value for money benchmarking, property charging and the setting of rents and associated charges.


You will make a positive contribution towards the achievement of the finance and performance objectives, to contribute to the development of systems and working practices, to improve financial management, internal controls and reporting.


  • Has excellent spreadsheet skills and experience of using financial / accounting systems
  • Has a good knowledge of accounting techniques.
  • Has 3 GCSE's grades A-C including English and Maths or equivalent
