At ALD Support we are committed to providing person centred care to people with Autism Spectrum Disorder and/or Learning Disabilities.

One of our service users we are supporting is a 30 year old service user with a diagnosis of Learning Disability, Autism Spectrum Disorder and mental health needs.

• Wrestling watching and collecting figures
• Playing XBOX
• Puzzles
• Going out to the cinema, bowling, library and disco nights out

• You will be responsible for maintain a high standard of care
• Assisting service users with a range of their daily tasks such as, meals, activities, personal care etc
• Support our service users to maintain their independence and dignity
• Promote a safe and inclusive environment for individuals with disabilities

We are looking for a learning disability support worker who may have similar interests and can help support the service user to engage in activities he enjoys and live a fulfilled life.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Empathy and compassion for individuals with disabilities
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking skills
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of individuals
• Knowledge of disability support services and best practices
• Have a right attitude to work
• Willing to learn new skills
• Have right to work in the UK
• Ideally must be a driver with access to a car (not essential)

• 12 hour shift
• Day shift
• Night shift

• Guildford, Surrey: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
