Job Title:
Support Worker
As a Support Worker, your main role will be to assist clients in maintaining their dignity and self-pride. This includes providing support with their hair, makeup, and nails. In addition, you will be responsible for encouraging clients to engage in hobbies and other healthy activities.


Job Requirements:


  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • A good command of English and ability to write reports
  • Own vehicle and valid driver's license and willingness to travel. (desirable)

Duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Assisting clients with personal care tasks, such as dressing, undressing, washing, bathing, and using toilet facilities.
  • Supporting with the preparation, cooking, and serving of meals, snacks, and drinks.
  • Performing general housework duties, including changing beds, laundry, ironing, tidying, and light cleaning.
  • Providing companionship and mental stimulation through participating in activities and hobbies.
  • Accompanying clients to appointments, day trips, outings, shopping, or other errands.
  • Assisting with clerical and communication tasks, like making phone calls, paying bills, and completing forms.
  • Supervising and administering medication as needed, while maintaining accurate records.
  • Monitoring healthrelated conditions, including diet and fluids, and keeping appropriate records.
  • Responding to emergencies in a timely manner.
  • Maintaining communication between all parties within the organization.
  • Ensuring proper recordkeeping and effective handovers to pass on relevant information.

A salary of £12 per hour.
