A leading, independent lighting and rigging supplier predominantly focussed on live events within the entertainment industry require a Digital Marketing & Copywriting Executive to assist the Digital Marketing Manager to deliver and create contentacross their online channels.

About You & the Role:
This is a varied role within the Marketing Department.

As a copywriter you will be the guardian of how the brand sounds, balancing mastery of tone with technical precision.

You will write across marketing channels, with search engine optimisation a top priority. You will work within a small team,to write copy on all events associated with the company.

You will play an essential part in your team and company success story by efficiently and effectively carrying out duties includin

Digital Marketing
Analytics & reporting - Monthly performance reporting for digital channels, providing recommendation for growth. Monitor competitor activity staying up to date with current trends.

Brand guardianship - Ensuring that all services provided, and brand information is accurate and consistent across all digital platforms. Become an advocate for the company in social media spaces, engaging in dialogues and answering questions where appropriate.

Partner management - Managing partner relationships along with the Digital Marketing Manager

Performance marketing - Executing the SEO and online marketing strategies, continually testing, learning, and driving users to our digital channels


Digital asset Management - Updating content and building pages on the website in line with current events and marketing campaigns.

Manage all published digital content (images, video, written etc.)

Collaboration & alignment - Work collaboratively with key stakeholders across the business to showcase company activity and updates accurately

In-house content - Work with key business stakeholders to identify organisational development aspects that would improve and content (e


g:
employee training, sustainability, company partners etc.)

Content creation - Administrate the creation, design, and publishing of relevant, original, high-quality content (integrated for all digital channels/ Company website, LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Internal communication)


Copywriting
Conducting keyword research to identify gaps in our content for SEO purposes, and addressing with valuable, high-performing content

Protecting our editorial integrity by researching and fact-checking content

Proof-reading and sub-editing other company documents

Producing promotional materials for print and online

Occasionally drafting press releases and event blurbs

Occasionally writing guest blogs for brand partners


Standard Companywide Responsibilities:
Any other duties as required / authorised by your Line Manager / Line Management reporting line.

Comply with all Health and Safety requirements.

Comply with all Policies and Procedures.

Ensuring that work areas are always clean and tidy.

Your Skills, Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor's degree (minimum of 2:1 qualification) in a field relevant to writing or marketing or 1-2 years proven experience in Digital Marketing / Copywriting

Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

Demonstrable SEO expertise and knowledge of content marketing strategy/trends.

Familiarity with SEO tools such as SEM Rush, Google Search Console strongly desirable.

Excellent grammar skills and the ability to adapt to the company's style/tone of voice.

Excellent organisation to keep our workflow calm, working ahead of deadlines.

Excellent editing and proofreading skills with meticulous attention to detail.

Enthusiasm and willingness to pitch in wherever needed.

Possesses knowledge and experience in the tenets of traditional marketing.


In-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms, their respective participants (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest etc.) and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios.

Good knowledge of GDPR.

Ability to jump from the creative side of marketing to analytical side, able to demonstrate analytically sound ideas.
