Are you passionate about accountancy and eager to shape the future generation of accountants? Look no further Recruit 2 You is seeking a dedicated Learning and Development Mentor to join our client's team and support Accountancy Apprentices on their learning journey.
You as the new Accountancy Mentor will:
- Conduct regular reviews with Accountancy Apprentices in both the workplace and classroom.
- Take ownership of administration related to apprentice reviews, leading up to the completion of the AAT End Point Assessment.
- Provide blended academic and pastoral advice, guidance, and support.
- Ensure a safe and conducive working environment for our learners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work to ensure timely achievement of learner outcomes.
- Provide constructive feedback on knowledge, skills, and behaviours to all learners.
- Offer coaching and mentoring throughout the learning journey and beyond.
- Create learning resources for the EPA portfolio and evidence gathering.
Requirements of Knowledge, Experience, Technical Skills, and Behaviours:
- Essential:_
- Minimum AAT Level 3 Diploma in Accounting or equivalent.
- Experience in an accounting environment, industry, or practice.
- Strong IT skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage high workloads.
- Desirable:_
- Mentor or training experience.
- Full driver's license with access to own vehicle.
- Prior experience in apprenticeships, education, or working with unemployed individuals.
- Teaching or assessing qualification.
What you can expect in return:
Salary:
£25,000 - £35,000 per year.
Quarterly social activities and paid Christmas parties.
20 days annual leave + Bank holidays & Christmas shutdown.
