Description

The company are very well established and extremely innovative design and manufacture business who supply some of the UK's most recognised retailers with eco friendly and unique products.

They are looking to add a Supply Chain coordinator to support the Supply Chain Manager and wider purchasing and compliance team.

Responsibilities will include:
-

Assist in building and maintaining great working relationships with the existing supply base and all new factories to come on board
Identify and understand all new factories that come on board including product capability, range of product, capacity and critical path management
Keep up to date with trends, innovations and new technologies that could improve services to customers through factory communication
Establish quality control across all new factories ensuring stock production meets company standard
Ensure company values are being met by working with compliance to maintain ethical, diversity and sustainability standards
Coordinate with the other members of the supply chain including suppliers, shipping companies, and thirdparty warehouses
Supporting customer projects as needed and liaise with internal departments to ensure tasks are carried out in a timely manner
Work closely with the Supply Chain Manager on the development of any new projects and processes
Oversee the usage of warehouse capacity through out the seasons to ensure efficiency
Identify and escalate and potential risks or concerns in the supply chain and think pro actively to ensure efficiency and best practise at all times
