We are currently seeking a compassionate and experienced Senior Care Assistant to join our team in East Sussex.

As a Senior Care Assistant, you will provide high-quality care and support to elderly residents with varying needs and requirements.

Responsibilities:

Delivering personcentered care to our residents, promoting independence, dignity and respect at all times
Managing and administering medication to residents as required
Supporting and mentoring junior care staff to ensure the highest level of care is provided
Maintaining accurate and uptodate records of care plans and daily activities
Participating in staff meetings, training sessions and other relevant events as required
Building positive relationships with residents, their families, and the wider care team

Requirements:

NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
Proven experience in a senior care assistant or supervisory role within a care home setting
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
A compassionate and caring approach with a strong commitment to providing the highest level of care
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Flexibility to work on a rota basis, including weekends and bank holidays
