Accounting Customer Support Consultant

Location:
Wokingham

Salary:
£ £30,000
Are you an exceptional individual at building great rapport with customers?

Do you have a passion to use your knowledge and experience of Accounts and financial reporting to deliver knowledge-based solutions helping customers gain understanding of how Accounting information is presented?


Responsibilities:

Provide coaching and on the job training for customer support executives to grow their accounts knowledge and customer service skills

Work closely with the Compliance Specialists to assess training needs and assist in providing training for the team

Ensure you and your team have a deep knowledge of all products

Update and maintain the company's support materials (FAQs user guides and knowledge base)

Write and maintain training materials for internal and customer use

Become the recognised handler for specific product in our accounting suite

Raise enhancements requests/defects to be reviewed, including testing/verifying defects reported.

Test of pre-release products - Provide training material for video-based training content.

Provide stats for the head of customer care in relation to the department SLA's


Person Specification:

Working towards an accountancy qualification ACCA or ACA _OR_ Qualified to AAT level 2 or above _OR_ At least 3 years' experience of working within an accountancy practice, which would include knowledge of at least two of the following

Bookkeeping, final accounts preparation, tax return preparation, creation of iXBRL accounts for HMRC filing, use of accounts production, taxation and iXBRL software

A confident, calm and concise telephone manner

Experience of managing people

An excellent command of written communication

An analytical and organised approach to problem solving

An ability to interact positively with customers at all levels

Impetus to take initiative and want to strive to innovate

Influencing other to accept ideas, plans courses of action
