Security Manager needed - 4 months temporary - Birmingham Needed ASAP

The role will involve:

  • To provide day to day operational and strategic management of the Trust Security Management team; responsible for allocation and supervision of tasks within the team
  • To establish and maintain positive working relationships with police and other external stakeholders
  • To provide a visible presence whilst acting as a liaison with staff and visitors
  • To undertake the duties of a Local Security Management Specialist (LSMS) in accordance with Department of Health requirements and any subsequent advice or guidance issued by local/national bodies
  • To lead on the contract management and monitoring of services provided by third parties, specifically the daytoday operational and performance management of the security
  • To provide regular written and verbal reports, which may contain potentially complex and sensitive information to the Director of Corporate Affairs and Chief Legal Officer
