An exciting opportunity has arisen for a band 4 dietetic assistant practitioner to join the Weight Management and Diabetes Team in Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board.

The post holder will be joining a friendly and supportive team of over 90 collegues.

Full training, ongoing supervision and support will be provided.


The post holder will work alongside other dietetic assistant practitioners and with support and guidance from dietitians, physiotherapists and the psychologist within the team.

They will be responsible for their own case load, providing diabetes and weight management education and support for people across the health board.

They will organise and independently deliver of a range of education programmes on hospital sites and in community venues. There may also be opportunity for some 1:1 delivery. The ability to travel throughout the geographical area in a timely manner will be essential.
