Key Responsibilities:


  • To carry out electrical installation tasks as directed by site supervision teams
  • Adherence to set engineering standards in accordance with Health and Safety at Work Act (HASAWA) requirements.
  • To ensure quality installation standards are met.
  • To respond in a prompt and effective manner to all electrically related job requirements on the project.
  • Assist other trades as necessary.
  • To comply with security protocol within the site environment
  • To remain focussed on delivery of the project to the satisfaction of the client
  • To work with a "right first time" attitude within the business
  • To be committed to working in integrated mechanical and electrical teams

Skills & Experience:


Essential

  • SJIB registered
  • Current (in date) Electrician ECS Grade Card
  • City & Guilds Parts 1 and 2 (Electrical Installation 2360) or recognised equivalent.
  • City & Guilds 2391 electrical testing, and inspection.
  • 17th/18th Edition Institute of Electrical Engineers (I.E.E) Registration or recognised equivalent.
  • Health and Safety Training.
  • GCSE (or 'O' Level equivalent) passes in Maths and English or recognised equivalent.
  • Experienced in electrical installation work.

Desirable

  • Basic Mechanical experience/knowledge.
  • Supervisory experience for future development.
  • Basic CRB Clearance within the past 8 weeks with Disclosure Scotland.
