Description

Data Migration Consultant required for our Glasgow based large-corporate services sector client on a 12-month fixed term contract.

Following a significant acquisition, the business are on a multi-year journey to deliver their new TOM, by future proofing process and controls infrastructure with a major investment in systems.

As a Senior Manager in the team, you will support the integration process including the migration of the acquired business infrastructure to the existing IT systems.

Once completed, the next phase will be migration of other businesses within the group onto the same global platform. In addition, you will

Work with their Big 4 advisors project team to shape the data migration work from the acquired company as well as the buyers existing business on to the new system.
Liaise with SMEs to define goto data structures to ensure these are compatible with current and anticipated output requirements.
Coordinate internal SMEs to validate proposals and outputs.

Essential experience:

Previous largescale system implementation (examples SAP / Oracle / other ERP implementation); OR Previous largescale data migration and validation
Qualified accountant (necessary to ensure familiarity with how the data will be used after migration will inform data structure and granularity needed)
A selfstarter
Comfortable taking responsibility for helping the business to shape their role to maximise the value your skills bring to the business.
