2nd Line IT Support Engineer - Croydon - Up to £38,000 + Benefits

The role is a fully onsite role, therefore commuting to the office 5 days a week and is a full-time position working 37.5 hours per week.

A client of mine based within Croydon is looking to bring in an 2nd Line IT Support Engineer to join their growing IT team.

They are looking for an interactive, sociable individual who is approachable and is keen to grow their skills within IT.


For the 2nd Line IT Support Engineer, they are looking for someone who wants longevity within a company to progress and develop.

As well as this, they want the 2nd Line IT Support Engineer to have desire and passion for IT.

The role of 2nd Line IT SupportEngineer gives the successful individual the chance to use a variety of technologies such as:
Office 365, Azure Active Directory, Networking and potentially some other aspects of Mobile device management.

In addition to this, the 2nd Line IT Support Engineerwill be involved in project work, such as refits, monitoring and device refreshes.

In addition, the 2nd Line IT Support Engineer will also be given a lot of training on and off the job as well getting the opportunity to complete a number of training courses and certifications.


2nd Line IT Support Engineer - Key Skills:

  • Office 36
  • Mailbox management
  • Azure Active Directory and onpremises
  • Add and delete users, manage permissions, reset password and licenses.
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills
  • Troubleshooting experience

2nd Line IT Support Engineer - Desirable Skills:

  • Networking skills
  • working with routers and switches.


  • Azure Active Directory

  • Group Policies
  • Experience with Intune
  • Knowledge of ITIL
  • Microsoft and ITIL certifications
