Over The Rainbow Day Care presents a fantastic opportunity for a Nursery Practitioner to join our nursery in Newton Heath - Manchester.

We are looking for a caring, motivated and passionate person who can offer high quality childcare and enthusiastically encourages creativity and growth, enabling children to flourish in a stimulating environment whilst focusing on child-led learning opportunities.

We are seeking a
Level 2 or above Nursery Practitioner to deliver outstanding childcare, as well as providing a hands-on, fun, creative and an innovative environment for the children within our care.

About you - The ideal applicant
must

• Be at least Level 2 qualified
• Be warm, caring & passionate about working in early years
• Be enthusiastic and positive (always see the glass half full)
• Have a love for customer service (making people happy)
• Bring high energy to every task taken on, and a solution driven approach to problems
• Have an excellent knowledge of the EYFS
• Have experience of working with children and families
• Have a good understanding of safeguarding & child protection
• Be a good team player who is also able to act on own initiative

The role will include

• Ensuring that all children attending the setting are happy, well cared for and safe and receive rich and stimulating play experiences.
• Observing, supporting and extending children's learning.
• Maintaining accurate and effective children's records.
• Working in partnership with parents/carers and other family members.
• Demonstrating good practice with regard to special needs and inclusion.
• Ensuring that all legislation in relation to special needs, safeguarding and Health and Safety is complied with.
