Description

DCS Recruitment are looking for a site manager with a background of civil engineering to work on a site at Manchester Airport.

Main duties will be to look after a site team as a civils sub contractor to a Prinicpal contractor. Scope of works will include Ecavation, RC frame, Slabs, Drianage, and other general civils aspects.


Project duration for the groundworks will be approx 12 months, this could be extended depending on programme of works and if additional works are awarded.


Start Thursday 24th November - for a 2 day introduction and walk through site, then full handover and start Monday.


Minimum Requirements:

  • SMSTS
  • CSCS
  • First aid
Any additonal qualifications would be an advantage.


Your attributes:

  • You must have a strong background of working for civils engineering contractors on project values around £1M
  • Good communication skills both verbally and written
  • Proficient IT skills and able to complete back office paperwork
  • Have a positive attitude to work and able to motivate others around you
  • Able to cope under pressure and sign off work to a high standard
Approx Hours 7:30 - 17:30 monday - friday.

Pay rate DOE - based on either Hourly or Day rate - LTD and CIS payoll options available.
