Our client In Ealing are looking for a Caretaker on a temp basis for a months contract to join their team for the University of West London Campus on ST Marys Road.
To provide an excellent level of customer service to the client, external and internal. To present and provide a professional and courteous caretaking service.Duties but not limited to:
- To carry daily tasks for the team and client, including furniture moves, classroom checks, ad hoc requests, basic/small handyman jobs, work in the grounds, clearance of car park areas, load and unload vehicles, etc
- To work according to the rota issued by the caretaking supervisor
- To ensure the performance monitoring system standards are met. To ensure all job requests are attended to within the required timescales.
- To be self motivated and engaged with all requests and where required work unsupervised
- To inform the Line Manager of any breaches of discipline or service shortfalls
- To ensure all Maximo work orders and PPM's are managed accordingly and signed off according to process and procedure
- To maintain effective liaison and establish a good relationship with all clients and ensure excellent standards are met.
- Be innovative, recommend service improvements and identify cost savings to the benefit of the department.
- To attend event set ups and ensure all layouts and requests are met within the timescales
- To be responsible in conjunction with security to the opening or closing up of the University Buildings.
- To ensure all daily tasks are completed on time and in line with company KPI's.
- To carry out jobs similar to a porters role, includes movement of boxes and post across the estate.
- To maintain effective liaison and establish a good relationship with all clients and ensure excellent standards are met
- To wear a company uniform at all times and ensure all staff are suitably attired
- To comply with the Company's Policies, Management Plans and Procedures
- To fulfil Health & Safety responsibilities by adherence to the requirements of the Company's Health & Safety Policy and Health & Safety Management Plans
- To support the Company's Quality Policy Statement and actively participate in the achievement of Company and personal Quality objectives
- To undertake such other duties appropriate to the level and character of work as may reasonably be required within the Department / Service
Monday-Friday week - 7am-4pm
Monday-Friday week - 1pm-10pm
- This position is for a months contract
