PR Manager | Northamptonshire | Basic Salary up to £45k | Hybrid
Zachary Daniels Recruitment are partnered with a B2B business operating in the retail/wholesale sector. A new opportunity has arisen for a PR Manager to join the team.

Based in Northamptonshire with a hybrid working model, the position of PR Manager is a 360 role that will see you supporting the Head of Communications in creating and delivering a strategic communication plan for the business.

Key responsibilities in the position of PR Manager will include:

Maximise positive publicity that celebrates the success of the business, products and customers
Own and drive the communication plan ensuring all activities are coordinated and delivered to agreed timescales and budgets
Engage key stakeholders in content/activity ensuring the message delivered is accurate and enhances the reputation of the business/customers
Act as the first point of contact for all media enquiries resolving them efficiently, accurately and promptly.
Review annual editorial plans to identify opportunities to maximise PR presence
Attend and manage PR events as an ambassador to the company including press visits to customers premises nationally
Manage communication and engagement of local stakeholders to ensure they are well informed on the communication plan
Deputise for the Head of PR when they are not available dealing with crisis management and complaints in a timely and sensitive way
Support the creation of media content, making appropriate changes whilst responding to changing situations
Coach, lead and inspire the wider team with direct line management responsibility

About you:

Hands on knowledge in PR and/or Marketing ideally within a B2B environment.

Confident dealing with the media directly
Ability to quickly build and maintain influential relationships with multiple stakeholders.
Exceptional communication, copywriting and organisational skills.
Comfortable taking direction, open to feedback and equally using own initiative
