PR Manager | Northamptonshire | Basic Salary up to £45k | Hybrid
Zachary Daniels Recruitment are partnered with a B2B business operating in the retail/wholesale sector. A new opportunity has arisen for a PR Manager to join the team.

Based in Northamptonshire with a hybrid working model, the position of PR Manager is a 360 role that will see you supporting the Head of Communications in creating and delivering a strategic communication plan for the business.

Key responsibilities in the position of PR Manager will include:

  • Maximise positive publicity that celebrates the success of the business, products and customers
  • Own and drive the communication plan ensuring all activities are coordinated and delivered to agreed timescales and budgets
  • Engage key stakeholders in content/activity ensuring the message delivered is accurate and enhances the reputation of the business/customers
  • Act as the first point of contact for all media enquiries resolving them efficiently, accurately and promptly.
  • Review annual editorial plans to identify opportunities to maximise PR presence
  • Attend and manage PR events as an ambassador to the company including press visits to customers premises nationally
  • Manage communication and engagement of local stakeholders to ensure they are well informed on the communication plan
  • Deputise for the Head of PR when they are not available dealing with crisis management and complaints in a timely and sensitive way
  • Support the creation of media content, making appropriate changes whilst responding to changing situations
  • Coach, lead and inspire the wider team with direct line management responsibility

About you:

  • Hands on knowledge in PR and/or Marketing ideally within a B2B environment.

  • Confident dealing with the media directly
  • Ability to quickly build and maintain influential relationships with multiple stakeholders.
  • Exceptional communication, copywriting and organisational skills.
  • Comfortable taking direction, open to feedback and equally using own initiative
