We are delighted to announce that we are working with a highly respected Norwich based Ecommerce business who are looking for a Software Developer to join their team.

This role will primarily involve developing and maintaining Ecommerce websites throughboth back and front-end development, supporting marketing and technical support teams, in delivering a variety of solutions to clients across different ecommerce technology platforms.


This role will involve:

  • Frontend and Backend development using Ecommerce based tools e.g. Bigcommerce, Shopify, Woocommerce etc.
  • Leading a project from visual concept to golive, ensuring client and design team's requirements are met.
  • Working alongside other Software Engineers and the Marketing team in the assistance of project development
  • Writing and maintaining clean code including documentation and sharing technical knowledge with colleagues and clients.
  • Providing suitable documentation guides for completed projects for both internal staff and client training.

Our client is looking for someone with:

  • SASS based Ecommerce experience
  • Understanding and experience of Ecommerce Web Development (e.g. Bigcommerce, Shopify, Woocommerce, Magento)
  • Project Management knowledge of experience
  • Commercial experience of both frontend and backend development
  • Openness towards learning new technologies
  • Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, AngularJS
