Overview of Resident Services Operational Manager

Pertemps have an exciting opportunity within Harrow Council for a self-driven and motivated Resident Services Operational Manager to join an expanding team.

The role of Resident Services Operational Manager has a competitive pay rate of £28.19 to £31 per hour Umbrella PAYE.

Other benefits include excellent training and support for career development and 21 days of holiday (excluding Bank Holidays).

The Main Purpose of Resident Services Operational Manager:

Manage the income and debt recovery procedures of all tenures, ensuring achievement of performance standards and targets.
Work in partnership with the Police and relevant community and registered social landlords to achieve a coordinated approach to incidents of antisocial behaviour, harassment, and domestic violence.
Provide an effective and efficient mixed tenure management service, exercising and protecting 'Housing Services' rights as a landlord.
Provide an efficient and effective leasehold management & Right to Buy service, exercising and protecting 'Resident Services' rights as freeholders.
Ensure that mechanisms are in place for implementing and monitoring all tenure enforcement procedures, providing sound advice to the team on housing matters.
Actively promote resident participation in the management of their homes and estates, ensuring that the team members achieve the objectives of the Council's participation and consultation strategy.
Ensure that effective consultation is carried out with all tenure associations and the Harrow Federation of Tenants and Residents Association, concerning policy change, matters of Housing Management and planned works in the area.
To lead specific projects for the development of the service ensuring that deadlines and objectives are achieved within allocated resources and the timely delivery of expected outcomes.

About you, the successful will have:
"A housing or management qualification or equivalent experiential learning and proven achievement. IRPM/CIH qualification or working towards desirable
