Trainee Parts Advisor - Motor industry

Full time permanent role

Mon-Fri and every other Saturday morning

Haywards Heath area - Due to rural workplace location it is essential be a driver and have your own vehicle

Salary:
£20000-£22000 per year plus very good company benefits

We are delighted to be working alongside a very established and highly thought of motor dealership as they seek to recruit a full time and permanent Trainee Parts Advisor to join their expanding and busy site.

You will work alongside an experienced parts manager to learn all aspects of working in a busy parts department within the motor industry

A passion and interest in motor vehicles is highly desirable for this role.

Duties / responsibilities include:

Assisting, workshop, trade and retail customers with parts related enquiries through all communication channels

Maximising sales opportunities

Stock maintenance and ordering

Receipting goods inwards

Managing warranty and new parts returns

Competencies required:

It would be advantageous although not essential to have a basic knowledge of motor vehicles and their main components.

You will have an eye for detail and be a team player.

The successful applicant will also have excellent communication skills and have the ability to use their own initiative.

A full driving licence is essential for this position.
