Looking for an opportunity to make a real difference? Were seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as an Acquisitions Officer in Redbridge.

This role offers a chance to be at the forefront of preventing homelessness and making a positive impact in our community.

Pay Rate:
£25.95 UMB P/H


Duration: 1 month


Key Responsibilities:

Procure good quality properties across Redbridge Councils private sector initiatives.
Acquire temporary accommodation to address homelessness issues.
Work with landlords, colleagues, and housing benefit to increase the supply of private sector properties.
Develop and market the private rented accommodation scheme for continuous improvement.


Roles Context:


This role is crucial in providing housing advice and homelessness services to vulnerable customers under housing legislation and the Homelessness Reduction Act 2017.

It requires clear knowledge of homelessness legislation, housing legislation, welfare benefits, and social care knowledge.
