Job Summary:


Overall Purpose of the Role
Support the digital marketing team (brand and performance) on the implementation of the 'always on' campaign focused marketing activity.


Working closely with the marketing team, this role will support the shopDisney brand, product launches and promotions via appropriate media channels to help drive traffic to the e-commerce sites across Europe via targeted campaigns, and will work closely with stakeholders to brief and coordinate marketing assets and activities.

This role also coordinates elements of the marketing team administration.


Areas of Responsibility

  • Support with the implementation of the EMEA marketing calendar. This will involve coordinating content and photography, copy writing and content publishing,
  • Support in the development and coordination of brand campaigns (including PR),
  • Coordinate media reporting and share insights with wider Marketing team, as directed, to inform future planning,
  • Keep on top of evolving digital, and opportunities, and support the team with 'test and learn' calendar throughout the year,
  • Provide ad hoc support for affiliate, blogger and partner events, including movie screenings and product presentations,
  • Set up marketing promotions in partnership with online merchandising and production teams,
  • Set up and coordinate online competitions to support the marketing calendar and business objectives, checking that they are compliant with the legal team,
  • Brief and coordinate the development of digital marketing creative assets working with the brand and image design team,
  • Support the Marketing Managers with the implementation of Paid Search, Paid Social and SEO strategies, sharing relevant information with agency partners as required and as directed,
  • Set up Purchase Orders (POs) for the team and support with related finance administration,
  • Support the marketing team, as required, with other general ad hoc administrative duties including preparing presentations, collating product samples and advising on product orders.

  • Accountable for delivering all responsibilities with the scope of the role, on time and with high levels of accuracy and attention to detail,
  • Accountable for accurate and timely PO creation and associated finance administration,
  • Accountable for supporting and coordinating digital marketing creative assets as defined,
  • Accountable for coordinating with key stakeholders to effectively complete all tasks,
  • Accountable for set up (briefing and testing) of marketing promotions as required by the team,
  • Accountable for providing full and regular reports and analysis to the business on specific programs, as required,
  • Accountable for checking compliance of competitions with the legal team and operating within compliance and regulation guidelines,
  • Accountable for ensuring that any digital marketing assets used within the team are approved by the brand and image design team.

Experience and Professional Qualifications Required

  • Degree level education in a related field or equivalent work experience,
  • Digital and social media marketing experience, essential,
  • Experience working in a retail environment at admin level, preferable,
  • Proven experience of collaboration across teams to achieve joint objectives,
  • Experience using social media scheduling tools such as Khoros/ Spreadfast, preferable,
  • Basic HTML experience, preferable.

Skills Required:


  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, essential,
  • Understanding of social media tools and how they are used by brands, essential,
  • Excellent organisational, planning and time management skills with a flexible approach,
