Company Information
You will be working for a SME manufacturing business that have a strong presence in the UK, Working within their unique product there are the market leaders within there business.
Main duties
Reporting to the finance manager the main duties will include:
- Chasing debt
- Monitoring credit limits
- Putting accounts on stop when necessary
- Vetting new customers and setting up new accounts
- Setting up portals for invoice submission with larger customers
- Assisting with bank reconciliation
- Sending forms to all customers to obtain new limits and reenforcing our credit terms
- Keeping up to date with export declarations and required documentation
- Liaising with other departments to resolve invoice queries
- Regular meeting the accounts manager to go through ledger
- Occasionally may be asked to assist with other accounts duties and help during other team members leave, these duties will vary vastly
Requirements:
- AAT qualification, working towards would be desirable but not essential
- Good organizational skills
- No previous experience required
- Able and willing to follow instruction and able to work on own initiative
- Proficient on Microsoft office suite
- Attention to detail
