You will be working for a SME manufacturing business that have a strong presence in the UK, Working within their unique product there are the market leaders within there business.


Main duties

Reporting to the finance manager the main duties will include:

  • Chasing debt
  • Monitoring credit limits
  • Putting accounts on stop when necessary
  • Vetting new customers and setting up new accounts
  • Setting up portals for invoice submission with larger customers
  • Assisting with bank reconciliation
  • Sending forms to all customers to obtain new limits and reenforcing our credit terms
  • Keeping up to date with export declarations and required documentation
  • Liaising with other departments to resolve invoice queries
  • Regular meeting the accounts manager to go through ledger
  • Occasionally may be asked to assist with other accounts duties and help during other team members leave, these duties will vary vastly

Requirements:


  • AAT qualification, working towards would be desirable but not essential
  • Good organizational skills
  • No previous experience required
  • Able and willing to follow instruction and able to work on own initiative
  • Proficient on Microsoft office suite
  • Attention to detail
