The role
We are seeking a full time Veterinary Receptionist to join our Northam practice.

This role will be supporting a team of Veterinary Surgeons, Nurses, and Patient Care Assistants, assisting with reception tasks, and welcoming all clients and patients into the practice.

This position will best suit a proactive enthusiastic individual with a passion for customer service and exceptional communication skills.

You will be able to multitask, remain calm under pressure and prioritise your workload whilst maintaining a friendly and welcoming disposition.

9:00 - 5:30

9:00 - 5:30

9:00 - 6:00

9:00 - 6:00

9:00 - 6:00

Saturday 1:4 8:30 - 12:30


Key accountabilities
The duties of the Veterinary Receptionist (Client Care Assistant) include but are not limited to:

  • Prompt and efficient telephone answering
  • Dealing with routine client queries
  • Making appointments
  • Taking payments
  • Money handling and banking

Skills and experience
This position will best suit a proactive enthusiastic individual with a passion for customer service and exceptional communication skills.

You will be able to multitask, remain calm under pressure and priorities your workload whilst maintaining a friendly and welcoming disposition.

Previous veterinary receptionist experience is desirable but not essential.


Branch
Medivet Northam (Witten Park Vets) is a long-established practice on the North Devon coast near Bideford. We have a purpose-built practice on a 3-acre site with ten vets. You will be working alongside two cert holders in ophthalmology, who also run a referral service from the practice. Cert holder in surgery who does all our in-house orthopedic and advanced soft tissue work. Cert holder in Dermatology covering in-house and referral work. Cert holders in medicine.
