Description
The community respiratory service is a dynamic 7 day service supporting patients living with long term respiratory conditions. We provide Pulmonary rehabilitation, COPD condition optimisation, home oxygen service and respiratory service. The service is also in the process of expanding to support a respiratory virtual ward.

This post has become available due to successful career progression of the previous post holder.

ESNEFT has a range of support available both in the team and from our pre-registration education team to support our assistant workforce.

Due to the community nature of the role a car driver is essential.

The post holder will work with a team of nurses, physios and other assistant staff to support the services.

A key part of the role will be supporting pulmonary rehabilitation which provides rehabilitation, exercise, education and self management advice for people who live with breathlessness in their daily life and have a long term lung condition.


You will also carry out tasks delegated by the nurse or physio such as inhaler technique, nebuliser set up, observations and equipment management.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone already working at Band 3 level or band 2 level who would like to progress.
