We're currently seeking a driven and ambitious Marketing and Communications executive to join a growing international law firm based in Leeds.

Working as part of the Business Development and Marketing function you will be working closely with lawyers and partners to ensure a proactive approach to business development.

Having full ownership of campaigns and projects you will ensure all deadlines are met and work closely with the partners to generate leads for the business.


Key responsibilities of the Marketing and Communications Executive:

  • Working with internal parties to identify and develop relationships with prospective clients who fall into the target market
  • Generate leads for the company by launching proactive campaigns to target key clients
  • Work closely with the events team to plan the events, target the right clients and prospects and launch impactful attraction strategies to ensure each event is a success.
  • Identify opportunities to cross sell to other sectors
  • Proactively follow up on all events
  • Generate interest and leads for the partners
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify target clients, hot topics, key pain points and devise the most effective way of targeting these prospects
  • Build and manage own pipeline of leads from the firms marketing and BD events
  • Supporting with the initial contract negotiations
  • Coach and train lawyers and partners to recognise and understand how to open up new business opportunities within their portfolio
  • Attend regular networking events, conferences and exhibitions
  • Implement local and national campaigns

Key attributes, experience and skill set:

  • Experience within corporate professional services firms (Accountancy, Law, Consulting, Project Management etc.) Legal services is preferable
  • Proven track record in consultative solutionsled environment
  • Possess an indepth understanding of legal services
  • Proven ability to build rapport crossindustry at Csuite and Director level
  • Strong negotiator and influencer
  • Previous marketing or communications experience is essential
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Dynamic and selfmotivated
  • Emotionally intelligent and customer focused
  • Strong decision making abilities
  • Able to travel as required
