- about 1 hour agoWe are recruiting for a Children's Residential Quality Manager to join a specialist Children's Residential and Education provider based in the North West of England. This job vacancy is a work from home opportunity. You could be based from Leeds, Newcastle, Manchester, or Carlisle

This job is home based but will involve regular travel to locations in Cumbria and Yorkshire.

So, the role could suit an experienced Registered Manager with fantastic OFSTED knowledge who is ready for a new opportunity.

The Provider


We are recruiting on behalf of an organisation established in the early 2000s who have grown into a national service with over 40-homes across the UK for vulnerable children and young people aged They have gained a great reputation for their passionate approach and by offering a range of therapies with the aim to support, nurture, and develop each child at every opportunity.

Their whole approach is to provide each child a home, where they feel loved, encouraged, and where they have the tools to flourish and grow into the best adults they can be.


Your Role


As Children's Residential Quality Manager, you will be overseeing compliance and quality processes for 27 children's homes across Cumbria and Yorkshire, some rated Outstanding.

You will provide positive leadership, register new homes, oversee regulatory activity, and ensure that the quality of the care is of the highest standard and in line with being an outstanding provider.


Criteria

  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Child Care or equivalent.
  • Experience as a Registered Manager within a children's residential care home.
  • Excellent knowledge & compliance with OFSTED regulations, or similar work such as conducting Regulation 44 related activities.
  • Experience of registering new services.
  • Full driving licence essential.
