    Main Responsibilities:

    • Prepare sales proposals and supporting presentation material & documents for Spare Parts, Field Service and support B & C class projects where applicable.
    • Determine, review and approve the calculated margin and proposal risk.
    • Support in presenting and explaining proposals to customers.
    • Build a sales funnel through maintenance planning and dry-docking dates.
    • Assist in coordinating internal and external promotion of solutions and success stories.
    • Approve offers within approval guidelines.
    • Use data and analytics to identify new opportunities and team performance.

    Main Requirements:

    • Hold a relevant technical education, preferably Associate, BSc. or equivalent, with marine-related work experience and an entrepreneurial mindset with sales affinity. Be fluent in speaking and writing English.
    • Have knowledge of regional markets and awareness of cultural diversity.
    • Show customer focus (internal/external) and capability to build business relationships.
    • possess good technical knowledge of Wärtsilä products and solutions.
    • Demonstrate strong business and results orientation.
    • Display a high level of detail and comprehension, ensuring a high level of proactivity and flexibility.
    • Exhibit experience with negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Be driven by performance with a positive attitude.
    • Ability to be part of a team and drive enthusiastically cultural and DNA change.
