An exciting opportunity has arisen for a recent graduate who is keen to acquire experience and build a career in the procurement sector of the localisation industry.
The Vendor Management department is responsible for building and managing the company's resources, including subcontracted freelancers, agencies and studios for subtitling, translation, dubbing, voice-over and audio description, or any other language localisation services as required in the UK and abroad.
Reporting to the Vendor Manager, the Vendor Intern will be responsible for assisting the team with admin tasks and any other ad-hoc support that may be required.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Supporting the Vendor Management team, ensuring the best resource choices are available for our production teams
- Ensuring vendor data is updated in our systems and that all relevant legal documentation is in place and stored in each supplier's folder
- Providing adhoc administrative support to the Vendor Management team and other areas as required
- Testing suppliers for adhoc projects and general onboarding requirements
Desired skills and experience:
- University degree, preferably in Translation, Audiovisual translation or related discipline
- Excellent written and spoken English with outstanding communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work well independently, under pressure, and in a fastpaced environment
- Strong knowledge of standard MS Office programmes
