YOUR ROLE


Our Operation in Hamble is looking for a Warehouse Supervisor, where you will be responsible for monitoring and controlling warehouse inventory by overseeing, directing and coordinating the movement of supplies, products and merchandise into and out of the warehouse.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

Reporting into the Operations Manager you lead and motivate a team of around 12 warehouse operatives.

You will provide appropriate management control through effective planning, organization, control and communication to ensure that all key performance indicator targets in relation to service, productivity and performance are achieved.

You will maintain an optimal level of operational efficiency and resources at all times.

You will ensure operating procedures and processes meet quality requirements and driving performance improvements such as LEAN methodology through auditing checks and processes and robust reporting mechanisms.


You will monitor performance and progress of warehouse and distribution employees, to ensure that they are motivated, trained and aware of the required performance standards.


You will also maintain high standards of health and safety, hygiene and security within the warehouse, ensuring that all relevant health, safety and environmental policies and procedures are adhered to and that appropriate controls are in place to ensure security of products within the site.

For this role you will need to commit to Monday to Friday 07:00 to 15:30 but flexibility is required.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

It goes without saying that you have strong stakeholder engagement skills, capable of building relationships at all levels. You will be a PC user with the ability to present performance and KPI data to management when required.
