The team at Brocklehurst HR provide HR support to businesses who don't have their own HR resource or need additional expertise.
We work with a portfolio of SME's across a number of industries, remotely and on site as required.
We partner with businesses to deliver the full HR offer including for example implementing HR functions, establishing key processes and policies, HR strategy and people plans, people system and employee benefit implementation, employee toolkits e.g policies, performance tools, organisation design, people management, employee relations and organisational change projects.
Job description
Due to growth we are seeking an experienced Head of HR/Senior BP to take ownership of our client accounts and provide proactive HR support to shape and deliver their people plans.
We can be flexible on the days and hours worked as this is largely shaped by the individual and their client's requirements.
We can offer from between 1-3 days work per week as required.The role suits someone that wants to use their skills and experience to make a difference and needs flexibility in their work schedule.
The role is a hands on role, working in an HR team of 5 people, delivering the complete HR function into businesses.
You will have the support of an HR Administrator.Accountabilities will typically include:
- Proactively business partnering with a number of clients and their leadership teams to understand their business needs and design and deliver their annual people plans
- First point of contact for directors and line managers for all people needs
- Identifying opportunities for improvement and developing and delivering the complete HR function into a business.
- Capturing employee and line manager feedback through 121's, exit interviews, new starter meetings to ensure company plans increase employee engagement
- Benefit and people system implementation
- Coaching line managers
- Supporting with recruitment, induction, training and development as required by the client
- Implementing perfomance toolkits that work for the company and culture.
- Managing people cases for example investigations, disciplinarians and grievances if required
- Researching best practice HR to help shape procedures and tools for clients
- Creating documentation and processes for companies for their people processes
- Senior HR Manager/HRBP/head of HR with experience of shaping and delivering people plans autonomously
- Confidence and flexibility to work remotely and at client sites as required
- Experience of working across a number of business areas and stakeholders with different business needs able to multi task and manage a number of priorities
- IT literate in particular Microsoft 365 including word, excel and powerpoint
- Proactive and confident to influence Company Directors
