Petrofac is to hire for the position of "Permit Co-ordinator" to be based offshore role on the GP3 and the rotation is 1 week on 4 weeks off (5-week cover)

JOB TITLE:
PERMIT CO-ORDINATOR


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Committed to incident free operations.
  • Actively support a working environment based on respect for health, safety, and environmental issues.
  • Administration, issue, and revalidation of authorized permits
  • Authorization and Validation of the PTW confirming that there are no conflicts with any other work activities.
  • Administration of Lock Out Box process and controlling the issue and return of LOB keys.
  • Confirming all crossreferenced permits have been cancelled prior to deisolation.
  • Ensuring any isolations remaining in place are transferred to LTI.
  • Issuing authorized Sanction To Test (STT) to confirm all associated permits have
- been withdrawn.

  • Carrying out the final assurance check that the Permit being issued will not.
- conflict with ongoing work scopes (SIMOPS).

  • Attending PTW Meeting and ensuring that SIMOPS are identified.
  • Ensuring a register for the issue and return of portable gas detectors is maintained.
  • Conduct regular Control of Work Audits to ensure NEO's compliance with legislation and other regulatory requirement and ensure the findings are documented.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:


  • Recognized relevant NVQ qualification or equivalent,
  • Experience of offshore operations and permit to work systems.
  • Ability to create positive relations with peers and stakeholders internally and externally.
  • Experience of maintenance scheduling, organizing, coordinating, and controlling/monitoring work and POB
  • Technical qualification
