About the role
Within our UK People team we are currently looking for an People Country Leader.

This role will ensure a flawless service to our line managers and our employees with the emphasis on attracting, developing and retaining talent, employability and engagement combined with smooth and qualitative HR operations.


You will be part of the UK management team and report into an international People Director and will enjoy working in an international matrix structure.


Your responsibilities:


  • You are the strategic business partner for local UK management on various HR topics, you provide real added value and thus contribute to the realization of our business objectives;
  • You ensure, together with your team of People Business Partners and People Specialists, a flawless implementation of the SD Worx's People strategy in the UK;
  • You develop, together with our corporate people department, strategic HR projects for the UK and ensure their implementation and evaluation;
  • You are a true positive SD Worx leader, you motivate your team and let your colleagues grow. You coach them to become selfleaders;
  • You maintain an overview of the various HR priorities, tools and processes for and in SD Worx UK at all times and continuously strives for improvement;
  • You proactively advise and give endtoend support to your People Director
  • Ensure the UK business is kept up to date with all legal developments from a HR Perspective, a key legal counsel.

What do you have to offer?

  • Educated to Degree level with CIPD Chartered Membership (or equivalent accreditation) is essential, MSc with CIPD is desirable.
  • Have a minimum of 8 years' experience in an HR business partner / HR management role;
  • Strong, influential HR professional with experience of operating in a fastpaced, commercial, international business environment.
  • Excellent relationship building, consulting, communication and influencing skills with the intellectual capacity and knowledge of the market place to be credible within this environment.
  • Demonstrated experience of business partnership at Senior levels, offering expert professional advice to aide decision making.
  • Show drive, flexibility and eagerness to support and facilitate growth and change;
  • Be a team player an inspiring positive leader with an genuine passion for customer experience;
  • Ability to motivate and coach people and make them work together in a matrix structure;
  • Be proactive and customeroriented;
  • Be an innovative, critical friend
  • Be passionate about People
