Our client is a genuinely independent IFA that provide a co-ordinated approach to financial services to meet the individual needs of their clients.

Originally founded in the 1970s, they have evolved over the decades to become a firmly established IFA operatingacross the south, with its registered head office in Dorchester.


Due to an exciting growth strategy in place, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced and driven IFA Administrator, who perhaps has aspirations of becoming a qualified Paraplanner, to work within their successful, client-centric business.


About the role


Within this role, your main responsibilities will be to provide Administrative support to the Financial Advisers within the firm, including researching products, providers and investments in order to help provide a solid basis for any recommendation madeby the Advisers to their clients.

You will also be responsible for;

  • Accurately maintaining client personal details and policy information and updating IO
  • Helping Advisers prepare for client appointments by compiling client meeting packs containing documentation including, but not limited to; valuations, client agreement, fact finds, risk questionnaire and profile
Ideally you would need to demonstrate the following ability;

  • 2 years experience in a previous IFA Administrator role within an IFA firm
  • Good industry knowledge and a commitment to personal development
  • Experience of using investment platforms and a good competency using backoffice systems such as IO (or similar)
  • Client focussed and able to manage client relationships
  • Good analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Good report writing skills
  • Experience of FE Analytics or Selectapension is desirable
