Teaching Assistant (Immediate Start) - Peckham

Are you seeking a position as a Teaching Assistant? Love supporting children? Do you live in the Peckham area?
If so, we are recruiting a Teaching Assistant to work within a fantastic special needs school, located in Peckham. This will be a full time role, from Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4pm. The role will be to support autistic children in a primary school setting.

The Role:


  • Support students with special needs in a primary school setting as a Teaching Assistant
  • Contribute to creating a safe, supportive and engaging learning environment
  • Willing to complete training on how best to support students with special needs as a Teaching Assistant
  • Communicate closely with colleagues to ensure progress of students is prioritised as a Teaching Assistant
  • Ensure safety for pupils in and out of class as a Teaching Assistant

Requirements:

Available Immediately, Mon-Fri, 8:30am to 4pm:

  • Confident to support pupils with behavioural challenges
  • Willingness to support children with special needs as a Teaching Assistant
  • Passion for working with children as a Teaching Assistant
  • Live local to Peckham or within a commutable distance
