Your dream role

  • An exciting opportunity to join our high performing Supply Chain and Logistics department as a Supply Chain Associate (Incoming Goods Receipt).
  • Provide support to the Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Cell and Gene Therapy Development and Quality Control teams with regard to the management of raw materials procured in support of GMP manufacture and suppliers, planning, logistics, and distribution.
  • Responsible for the management of all inbound deliveries of materials, including ambient, 28c and frozen material.
  • Partner with Supply Planner to schedule deliveries and escalate any delivery issues.
  • Responsible for reporting/raising and investigating any QMS incidents as required.
  • Prepare paperwork as required for the QC release team
  • Inform QC release of material that is required to be released and ensure they are released within a timely manner.
  • Operate a first expired first expired (FEFO) for raw materials and consumables.
  • Assist with the picking of released material for manufacturing kits and ensure the manufacturing kits are processed to meet the manufacturing schedule.
  • Assist with the management of appropriate stock levels of all general consumables and carry out stock checks of consumables and reagents.
  • Perform all activities in accordance with GMP and standard operating procedures.
  • Assist as required with the investigation of supplier complaints.
  • Ensure all materials and equipment is stored safely, correctly, and securely depending on item classifications.
  • Good housekeeping of storage areas to maintain audit ready facility.
  • Driving company vehicle for the transfer of materials between sites.
  • Out of hours support to cover cold chain units across all sites will also be required.

About you

  • This is the ideal position for someone with experience in a similar position.
  • You will have warehouse experience in a GMP manufacturing environment, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Experience of handling temperature sensitive materials.
  • A clean driving licence.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships internally and externally.
  • Competent in the use of Microsoft Office products.
  • Exceptional organisational and planning skills with the ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a real desire to continually develop and improve our processes.
