Nomad is seeking a Assistant Director to join our team This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join our dynamic team.

Responsibilties
- To ensure the overall charity is functioning in a good practice in line with Nomad governance, policies and procedures
- Train and develop new staff members with the guidance of executive director
- Ensure compliance with all Harrow regulations and procedure
Oversee the training of all new hires, including orientation, training.
- Ensuring all staff, volunteers and workshop facilitators all are have enhanced DBS.
- Monitor and evaluate the work of the charity in partnership with the Executive Director and Nomad users
- Developing youth leadership and programming
- Fundraising and reporting
- Working alongside Executive director in developing a strategic budget for work. Preparing for annual accounts and reporting activities
- Creating a database for collecting data of our users.
Qualifications and experience
- Minimum 4 years experience in the charity sector within a management role
- Knowledge and experience of youth sector
- Computer litracy and working knowledge of Microsoft excel and word
- Knowledge and passion for community development and engagement with youth sector
- Leading with compassion whilst sometimes working under pressure and knowing when to adapt a plan to the needs of young people
- Basic knowledge of refugee and immigration process
