Southampton, Head Office. 2 DAYS PER WEEK IN OFFICE

At B&Q we have a hybrid approach to working to increase flexibility in when and where we work. We would require 2 days per week in the office or more if you choose


Key responsibilities
This is a newly created role in line with our stragegic and growth plans for our Apprenticeship offering.


This is a high profiled role within B&Q, Working with the Colleague Capability and Apprenticeship Manager to embed and grow apprenticeships across stores and Headoffice, ensuring we're supporting colleagues to gain new skills and qualifications whilst maximising the investment of our levy and up-skilling our talent pipeline for the future.


Required skills & experience
You will have knowledge and experience in the apprenticeship programme, be highly motivated abd passionate about Apprenticeships and continued learning


Required Skills & Experience:


  • Management experience (desirable)
  • Effective project management and consultancy skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships that enable effective influencing of internal and external stakeholders
  • An innovative, creative and selfmotivated approach in order to grow engagement and inlearning numbers
  • Good communicator with a desire to influence and build a broad network
  • Able to work well in a team and take a collaborative approach.
  • Able to have high support & high challenge conversations'
