Description
We are looking for a hard working individual to join our team as a construction road sweeper operator. You will be contracted to work Monday to Friday with availability to work weekends and nights offered.

As a road sweeper operator you'll report to the depot on a daily basis, check over and report on your truck before setting out on the work schedule sent to you through your phone.

Your schedule may vary day-to-day and have you attending building sites, industrial estates and road maintenance projects.

You'll require a HGV Class 2 license, CSCS and Epic Card as well.

We'll provide you with your Calm Network and vehicle training as well as an induction to ensure you are competent before hitting the road.

Wages are based on a 9 hour day, with any hours over this moving into an overtime rate.

If you work Monday to Friday, your minimum gross will be £585.00 per week, putting the annual gross pay at just over £30,000.

Saturday and Sunday work is available and the pay rates for these are available for disclosure at interview stage.


Responsibilities:


  • Operate a sweeper truck to clean streets, parking lots, and other designated areas
  • Drive the sweeper truck to assigned locations and follow a predetermined route
  • Operate the sweeper equipment to effectively clean surfaces
  • Empty and dispose of collected debris in designated areas
  • Perform routine checks on the sweeper truck and equipment
  • Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while operating the sweeper truck

Experience:


  • Previous experience as a sweeper driver is desirable but not essential
  • Experience operating a flatbed truck is preferred
  • Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to drive for extended periods of time and navigate through different areas
  • Excellent driving skills with knowledge of traffic rules and regulations
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to spot debris and obstacles on the road
