Sllick is a progressive, Xero-only digital accountancy practice based in Scotland. We're seeking an experienced Bookkeeping & Accounts Assistant to join our growing team.
If you're passionate about accounting, have a knack for cloud-based bookkeeping systems, and are eager to work in a flexible, remote position, we'd love to hear from you.
Role:
Full-Time (37.5 hours per week)
Key Tasks:
As part of our team, your role will involve managing a diverse portfolio of clients and performing various accounting tasks, such as:
- Daily, weekly, and monthly bookkeeping in Xero
- Invoice processing using tools like HubDoc and Dext
- Bank reconciliations and supplier statement reconciliations
- Credit control and CIS reporting
- Payroll management
- VAT returns and Confirmation statements
- Bookkeeping up to the Trial Balance stage
Throughout your duties, you will work closely with a supportive line manager who will assist and guide you in your day-to-day tasks.
Skills Required:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accountancy practice
- Proficiency with Xero or other cloudbased bookkeeping systems like Quickbooks
- Previous experience in payroll management is preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong IT literacy
- Ability to meet strict deadlines and follow set processes

£22,000.00-£24,678.38 per year
