A vacancy has arisen in the stores department for a Band 2 Materials Management Assistants.

The post involves replenishing stock for the Wards, Departments and Theatres.

The role will involve the use of a PDA and a Computer on a daily basis.


Please note that this advertised vacancy does not meet the UKVI eligibility requirements for a Skilled Worker Visa and therefore HUTH would not be able to issue a Certificate of Sponsorship for this role.


Applicants should be self-motivated and able to work on their own initiative, as well as being able to prioritize their own workload.


Applicants should have good communication skill as the successful applicant will be expected to liaise with staff at all levels via telephone or face to face.


There will be a requirement to assist in other areas of the department as and when required as well as work across both Hull Royal Infirmary and Castle Hill Hospital as and when needed.

The applicant also needs to be flexible.


HUTH has two main sites:
Hull Royal Infirmary and Castle Hill Hospital with an annual budget of approximately £500 million. The Trust employs around 11,000 staff and serves an extended population of 1.25 million, delivering a number of outpatient services from locations across the area, extending from Scarborough in North Yorkshire to Grimsby and Scunthorpe in North East and North Lincolnshire respectively
