Independent Care Advisory Board Members (x2)

Location:
Norfolk


Remuneration:
£500 per day + travel/expenses

The Role:


As an independent Member of Norse Group Limited's Care Advisory Board, which is a sub-committee of the Norse Group Board, you will provide expert consultancy advice on care-related issues.

You will advise on questions of compliance, assurance, safeguarding, performance, and strategy.

Must make genuine commitment to residents and the promotion of excellent health care services, culture, and innovation.

As well as demonstrate a thorough understanding of CQC Regulations and Standards that comprises the licence to practice, along with the following:


  • The performance of our care homes and housingwith care projects in terms of compliance, customer and family satisfaction, staff skills and morale, regulatory issues, occupancy, and financial performance.
  • Our approach to Norfolk County Council commissioning and financing of our services.
  • Capital expenditure in our care estate.
  • Management structures and practices in our business.
  • Continue to provide scrutiny and constructive oversight of care delivery to support a continuous learning culture and capture lessons learnt.
  • Support the Director of Care in leading the business and make recommendations to the Group Board.
  • Any other care related matter that the Norse Board of Directors may request the Committee to consider or review from time to time.


You will need to utilise your experience to work alongside our dedicated NorseCare non-executive director, bring independence, external perspectives, skills, and challenge to strategy development.
