Sittingbourne
Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm
£35,000 - £38,000

ASAP start date**My client is a Kent based logistics, packaging and supply chain specialist, the business has experienced strong commercial performance, and despite the backdrop of a challenging economic climate, they have continued to invest into the business - with a focuson improving systems and processes to enable them to continually provide optimal service to their customer base.

They have also focused on hiring top talent across the board into the company, to ensure there is a strong talent pipeline moving, and this newlycreated Warehouse & Logistics Manager role is an extremely critical hire for the team.


The duties for this Warehouse & Logistics Manager role will include, but not be limited to:

  • The day-to-day running and management of the warehouse and fleet teams
  • Assisting with the Q1 2023 move to their new site
  • Assisting with the implementation of the new Inventory Management System
  • Managing the stock control process, ensuring stock levels are accurate and planning for future requirements
  • Managing a fleet of vehicles & forklifts, liaising with maintenance suppliers
  • Monitoring and reviewing driver tachograph analysis

The successful Warehouse & Logistics Manager will be / have:

  • Highly motivated and have a hunger to succeed
  • The ability to motivate a team and lead by example
  • Numerically strong and computer literate
  • The ability to identify and solve problems
  • 35 years of warehouse management experience
  • Current Forklift Licence (preferably Pivot Steer)
