Opportunities have become available to to join our fantastic team in Penrhos Stanley Hospital.

Penrhos Stanley Hospital is a busy forward thinking Community Hospital which has 2 wards and 33 beds and an active minor injuries and outpatients department.


The posts are for permanent or part-time healthcare support workers to work on the wards, it will involve rotation onto night duty; the ability to have a flexible approach to working hours is essential.


The post holders will support the trained nurse and other health care professionals in the delivery of the highest standard of patient focused care.

They will assist in improving the quality of the fundamental aspects of Health and Social Care for individuals who are acutely or chronically ill, frail or disabled.

Applicants must have experience with working in healthcare.

To assist the registered nurse in carrying out direct nursing care.


Perform patient observations:
temperature, blood pressure, pulse, oxygen saturation, blood glucose and urinalysis following a period of on-job instruction and training.

To undertake delegated duties related to patient care that contributes to the ongoing support of patients.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
