Collections Support Agent - Manchester

Working within the Collections department at Roma Finance, based in the heart of Manchester, you will be responsible for ensuring loans are repaid in line with their exit strategy.

The role of the Collections Support Agent is to work with borrowers to ensure their project is completed.

This means highlighting risk, building relationships and monitoring progress.

The role requires a highly resilient individual who is able to identify risks of non-payment and work with clients to reduce exposure.

Main Duties/Responsibilities

• Initiate Welcome calls to newly funded borrowers in line with the Highlighted risk form
• Assess the viability of client exit strategies to reduce risk of default/non payment
• Ensure accounts are managed to exit in a timely manner guaranteeing loans are repaid
• Ensure borrower accounts are updated with relevant rate increases where applicable to coincide with base rate increases
• Management of borrowers term loans to ensure payments are being maintained by monitoring go cardless activity
• Pre
• Consistently complete security assessment reviews and referred key / risk cases in order to mitigate risk and minimize potential financial losses ensuring correct RAG status applied.
• Referral of accounts in management to Senior collections specialist at 9 months.
• Proactively manage recovery strategies with customers to reach an outcome that is sustainable and plausible but still provide a professional and value service so that relationships are maintained
• Manage performance of SPV 6 and escalate any risk to minimize any financial losses
• Identify sales opportunities for conversions of Bridge to BTL or other projects to promote the customer for life proposition
• Deliver a positive experience throughout the customer journey to ensure repeat business
• Develop high quality relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth borrower journeys
• Improve borrower journey to promote Roma's competitive market position
