Transport Coordinator
Based in Corby
Reportable to Transport & Health & Safety Director
Full Time: 35 hours per week with 1 hour for lunch
£25,000 - £30,000 per annum depending on experience
General haulage is an expanding area within the business where we are looking to increase our activity by 30%.
Requirements:
- Previous administration/transport experience.
- Excellent communication skills with a professional office and telephone manor.
- Ability to be flexible where required.
- Good knowledge of UK road networks.
Role Responsibilities
- Below responsibilities are not an inclusive list of duties_
- Arranging outgoing transport and planning cost effective delivery routes for drivers.
- Load panning
- Booking in with customer/supply lines.
- Generating pallet labels and delivery notes.
- Overseeing daily activity for drivers.
- Being the main point of contact for drivers, this may involve occasional out of hours calls/communication.
- Dealing with and resolving any on the day issues.
- Liaising and relationship building with customer and supply lines.
- Communicating effectively throughout all parts of the business over both sites.
- Following company procedures and processes.
Salary:
£25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
