Tudor Employment are recruiting on behalf of our client based in Bloxwich, WS2 for a Quality Inspector.

You will be working as a Quality Inspector in a busy, fast-paced, refrigerated environment. The client produced fresh and frozen pork produce.

Previous experience in a food production environment or quality inspection role would be advantageous.

This is a full-time, permanent position.

Are you the right person for this role? The Quality Inspector will:

Be comfortable handling produce
Be happy working in a chilled environment
Be able to work in accordance with food hygiene and safety procedures
Possess experience in a meat production environment or quality inspection role

What will I be doing? Duties of the Quality Inspector will include:

Checking QA checks, GMPs and returns are completed correctly
Working to schedules on lab and organoleptic testing, internal audits and traces
Maintaining Quality Management System to ensure constant compliance to relevant standards and legislation
Hosting customer / third party audits and conducting preparation work for audits
Dealing with customer complaints and audit / internal nonconformances
Investigating root cause and implementing corrective and preventative actions
Maintaining supplier approval and completed questionnaires for our customer's supplier approval
Maintenance of the technical area

What are the hours of work?

This is a full-time vacancy, with usual working hours are 6:00AM-4:00PM Monday-Friday.

What is the rate of pay?

The Quality Inspector will be paid at a rate of £11/hour initially.
