Our housekeepers are a part of a team enabling our young people to get their childhood back and create pathways to become well rounded adults - an incredibly rewarding role to have.

Our homes accommodate young people with social, emotional and mental health needs, and our aim is to create the best possible outcomes for the young people in our care.

By making sure our children's home are a great place to stay, you'll be having a lasting positive impact on the lives of the young people in your care.

You will achieve this by preparing and serving a range of tasty, nutritious food, assisting with laundry and making sure high standards of tidiness and cleanliness are maintained.

You'll be working at the heart of our home, helping our young people to feel happy and supported in all aspects of their life, relationships, social skills, activities and hobbies.

Working here is never dull, and the work really matters. It's about tapping into each young person's needs, personality and potential - and guiding them toward a positive future.

Salary: Base salary of £23,593 - £24,467

Bonuses: £1,400 Attendance Allowance - assuming good attendance, £2,000 Regional Allowance

Holiday: You'll work hard at WG, so you'll be rewarded with 7 weeks' holiday

  • Ability to plan, prepare and make nutritious and healthy meals for a number of children and staff
  • Pride in high standards of cleaning and maintaining a home
  • A full UK driving licence which you've held for at least 12 months
