Sharp Consultancy are delighted to be working with a large independent firm based in
Sheffield who are looking to recruit a
Bookkeeper to join their team.

The well-established firm have been growing rapidly over the past year and due to this they are looking to expand the team, this is the perfect role for somebody who is looking to join a sociable and fun office environment ready to kick start their career in the new year

This role will mainly include providing all bookkeeping aspects for a large portfolio of clients.

The successful applicant must have practice experience. Experience on Sage is desirable but not mandatory.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Managing the daytoday bookkeeping for a portfolio of sole traders and some limited companies
  • Sales ledger, purchase ledger including bank reconciliations
  • Handling HMRC queries
  • Arranging detailed year end reconciled information
  • Dealing with VAT returns
  • Using accounts software such as Sage

Job Types:
Permanent, Part-time, Full-time


Salary:
£24,000.00-£25,000.00 per year

Experience:


  • Accounting: 1 year (required)
- bookkeeping: 1 year (preferred)
